2021
With the merger of the renamed companies of Swiss Trust Company (Audit) Ltd and Swiss Trust Company (Valais) GmbH as sister companies, there is now also a location of the Swiss Trust Company Group in Valais.
2020/21
The previous subsidiaries have been made independent through respective management buy-outs. The STG Group now consists of Swiss Trust Company LTD, Basel, Swiss Trust Company (Bern) LTD, Bern, Swiss Trust Company (Zürich) LTD, Zurich and STG Audit LTD (Basel, Bern and Zurich).
2018
The head office in Zurich is spun off into a subsidiary, Swiss Trust Company (Zürich) LTD. The Swiss Trust Company Group now consists of three head offices: Basel, Bern and Zurich.
2013
STG is a new member of GGI (Geneva Group International). GGI is an alliance of independent companies in the fiduciary sector. Swiss Trust Company LTD is again connected to an international network.
2011
The company headquarters in Lausanne and Geneva are sold to the employees. Swiss Trust Company LTD is now represented in Basel (head office), Bern and Zurich and employs over 33 people.
2009
The company is acquired by a group of private Swiss investors. The company reverts to the name Swiss Trust Company LTD. Swiss Trust Company LTD, as a national trust company, is represented in Basel (head office), Berne, Fribourg, Geneva, Lausanne, Lugano and Zurich and employs over 50 people.
2003
Swiss Life sells STG Holding LTD to LGT Group, Vaduz.
1998
Separation of the company into the audit division with associated consulting divisions, which merge in 1998 to form PricewaterhouseCoopers LTD, and the fiduciary division, Swiss Trust Company and STG Holding LTD, which are taken over by Rentenanstalt (now Swiss Life).
1991
Management buy-out by the former management, who become partners. Swiss Trust Company-Coopers & Lybrand LTD becomes the new main company.
1959
Start of cooperation with Coopers & Lybrand International (founded in 1957). Swiss Trust Company joins as an associate member.
1925
Swiss Trust Company is co-founder of the Swiss Chamber of Auditors (today EXPERTSuisse).
1906
On September 20, Swiss Trust Company is founded as the first company in the industry in Basel by Swiss Bank Corporation.
